CELLSPIN is a programmable spinning system for the cultivation of suspension and adherent cells. It can be used with micro carriers for anchorage dependent cells or to increase cell densities of suspension cells. CELLSPIN offers dual rounded glass pendulums that guarantee gentle but optimal mixing of the cell suspension with extremely low shear force. The excellent surface to volume ratio guarantees improved oxygenation. The control unit is completely programmable in regard to rotation speed, pendular angles, direction, intervals and cultivation times. Designed to remain outside the CO2 incubator, changes in the program can be made without opening the incubator door.

The entire unit is CO2 and moisture resistant and comes with a built in timer and alarm to alert you to a problem before you lose your cells. The unit can also be connected to an in house alarm system. The system is available with a printer port for printing of protocols and documentation. Four different flask sizes are available (100,250,500&1000ml) and can be placed on the unit in any combination. Two CELLSPIN systems will fit in most standard incubators. One control panel will control two separate spinner platforms. The temperature uniformity makes CELLSPIN ideal for insect cell cultivation (27°C).
