The MediaClave nutrient media preparer and media sterilizer guarantee the gentle and rapid preparation of standard and highly sensitive nutrient media for the medical and microbiological laboratory. MediaClave gently heats nutrient media in the stainless steel vessel until the sterilization time. The new stirring mechanism produces homogenous mixtures at speeds of 75 or 150 rpm. The media is then rapidly cooled for dispensing by a water-cooled jacket coupled with a support pressure compressor. This prevents delayed boiling during the cool-down phase. The system is 95% faster than self-cooling models. A 4-Stage safety program automatically monitors all pressure & heating functions.
