Inoculating Loops:
Argos brand Inoculating Loops are made from high quality twisted nichrome wire. Loops have been designed to slide along agar surfaces without cutting or tearing. Argos Inoculating Loops cool rapidly and are less expensive than platinum. Loops are supplied without handles and are available calibrated or non-calibrated. Calibrated Loops are supplied with calibration certificates based on ASM/APHA Evans Blue Dye test protocols.

Inoculating Loop Holders:
Argos Inoculating Loop Holders are made from nickel plated brass. Handles are insulated to protect the hand during use. Loop Holders are available in two sizes: 6” and 8”.

Inoculating Handles and Loops:
Reusable Inoculating Loops with handles are used to select, inoculate or transfer microbiological samples. Loops are made of high quality twisted nichrome wire and attached to a light-weight aluminum handle. Handles are insulated to protect the hand during use. Loops have been designed to slide along agar surfaces without cutting or tearing. Loops and Handles cool rapidly after sterilization and are offered calibrated (1µl & 10µl) or non-calibrated. Calibrated loops are supplied with calibration certificates based on ASM/APHA Evans Blue Dye test protocols. Non-calibrated Loops and Handles are available as small, medium or large and are color coded for easy identification.

Inoculating Needles:
Reusable Inoculating Needles with handles to select, inoculate or transfer microbiological samples. Needles are made from high quality nichrome wire that cools rapidly after sterilization. Attached to a light-weight aluminum handle, insulated to protect the hand during use. Teasing Needles are offered in 6” straight (white) or 6” angled (blue).
